Safety Management System

A unique safety management system appropriate to our E&M business was established and implemented. Our system emphasizes on participation of personnel at all tiers at project level in safety planning and self-monitoring. Every safety plan is tailor-made for the characteristic of a project. Safety measures include training and inspections are carried out in accordance with actual progress of works. Our management asserts that it is the top priority to ensure the highest standards of safety and health for all its employees, subcontractors and the public.

Overall, although certain standard method statements, procedures and rules are well established, it is not merely a copying work by compiling these rules, standards into the plans. It is for the members of the quality, environmental management and safety department to review the nature and progress of work with the project team from time to time for individual project to identify significant aspects of the three systems and to select appropriate method statements for the plans.

  • Organization chart with responsibilities and authorities of each project member;
  • Job related risks assessment and suggested control measures;
  • Schedule of training;
  • Schedule of inspection (Pre-work inspection and work-in-progress inspection);
  • Schedule of drill;
  • P.P.E. schedule;
  • Schedule of safety committee meeting;
  • Procedure for handling accident investigation.
